Application Requirements

Applications are made online through NEVÜ's official website. Applications submitted before the deadline will not be accepted. If there is any discrepancy between the documents uploaded to the system and the original documents, the applicant's registration will be rejected, and if irregularities are detected, the registration will be canceled even if it has already been processed, and legal action will be initiated. To apply, you must be a high school senior or a high school graduate.

Applications from candidates in the following situations are accepted.

a) Provided that they are in their final year of high school or have graduated;

1) Foreign nationals (provided that they are not currently studying in / have not graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye [excluding embassy schools, international private education institutions listed in the MOBİS system, and foreign nationals brought to our country within the framework of projects carried out by the Ministry of National Education]);

2) Those who were Turkish citizens by birth but lost their Turkish citizenship by obtaining permission to renounce it from the Ministry of the Interior, as well as those who document that they hold a Blue Card, which is issued upon request to persons who have lost Turkish citizenship (provided that they are not currently studying in / have not graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye or the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus)). (Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 states: "A child born within the union of marriage to a Turkish mother or father, whether inside or outside Türkiye, is a Turkish citizen." Candidates applying under the international admission quotas would benefit from reviewing the Turkish Citizenship Law.)

3) Those who, having been foreign nationals, subsequently acquired Turkish citizenship / dual nationals in this situation (provided that they are not currently studying in / have not graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye or the TRNC);

4) Citizens of the Republic of Türkiye who completed the entirety of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country other than the TRNC (including those who completed the entirety of their secondary education (high school) at Turkish schools established under the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country other than the TRNC);

5) TRNC nationals who reside in the TRNC and completed their secondary education (high school) in the TRNC and hold GCE AL examination results; those who enrolled in and attended colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2010 and hold / will hold GCE AL examination results; or TRNC nationals who completed the entirety of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country and hold TR-YÖS results — their applications are accepted.

 

Applications from candidates in the following situations are not accepted.

1) Citizens of the Republic of Türkiye who completed the entirety of their secondary education (high school) in Türkiye or the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus);

2) TRNC nationals (except those who completed the entirety of their secondary education (high school) at TRNC high schools and hold GCE AL results; those who enrolled in and attended colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2010 and hold / will hold GCE AL examination results; or TRNC nationals who completed the entirety of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country and hold TR-YÖS results);

3) Dual nationals whose first nationality by birth is that of the Republic of Türkiye, as defined in item 2 of paragraph (a) of the Principles Regarding the Admission of Students from Abroad (except those who meet the conditions in item 4 of paragraph (a));

4) Dual nationals one of whose nationalities is that of the TRNC (except those who completed the entirety of their secondary education (high school) at TRNC high schools and hold GCE AL results; those who enrolled in and attended colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2010 and hold / will hold GCE AL examination results; or TRNC nationals who completed the entirety of their secondary education (high school) in a foreign country and hold TR-YÖS results);

5) Citizens of the Republic of Türkiye, or dual nationals whose first nationality by birth is that of the Republic of Türkiye as defined in item 2 of paragraph (a) of the Principles Regarding the Admission of Students from Abroad, who received their education at schools within embassies in Türkiye or at foreign high schools located in Türkiye;

6) a) TRNC citizens and persons who have renounced Turkish citizenship / Blue Card holders who are currently studying in / have graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye or the TRNC;

b) Foreign nationals who are currently studying in / have graduated from secondary education (high school) institutions in Türkiye (excluding embassy schools, international private education institutions listed in the MOBİS system, and foreign nationals brought to our country within the framework of projects carried out by the Ministry of National Education) — their applications are not accepted.
